Style Scouting: Vol. 112 – In My Own Style

Thanks for stopping by for this week’s Style Scouting. My Sunday post where I share the random stuff that captured my attention or inspired me that I found online.

Happy October 2nd! It feels like October now after Hurricane Ian blew through. Here in the midlands of South Carolina we received lots of rain and wind.

No damage or flooding, only a lot of smaller tree branches and pinecones everywhere that needed to be picked up.

I am loving the fresh air and cooler temps that got me reaching into my closet to grab this cozy mixed knit pullover to snuggle into.

I haven’t been able to do much around the house except trying to find a comfy position to sit or stand as my hip is getting worse with each passing day.

I have hip replacement surgery scheduled for the end of the month. Even though October is my favorite month that I like to savor every minute. This year I am OK with it speeding by so I can get a new hip and get up and moving again without constant pain.

I have to thank all of you that left me comments in a post a while back where I mentioned my hip. I learned so much about the different types of hip replacement that I didn’t know before. I felt enlightened. 🙂

Since then, I have been to 3 different orthopedic surgeons, have had lots of tests and imaging to find the best path for me. So thank you dear readers for educating me on all things “hip replacement”. XO

Easy and pretty DIY to hang your pots and cooking utensils.

Another seasonal way to serve Brie. I know my daughters will want to try doing this. 🙂

Looks perfect for a weeknight meal when the fall temps fill the air or to make and take to a pot-luck get together.

If you like to bake now that it is autumn, this may become a family favorite!
